My name is Mrs. Sadler and this is my first year teaching at Southport. This is my 11th year teaching and I am so excited to be working in West Sacramento where I also live.
I spent the first five years of my career teaching science classes for Lodi Unified School District. In 2012, I was hired by River Delta Unified School District to teach Biology and Chemistry at Delta High School in Clarksburg. For the last three years, in addition to teaching these high school courses, I also began teaching 7th grade Life Science to Clarksburg Middle School students. This was a unique opportunity that allowed me to teach both middle and high school courses on the same campus and helped me make sure that my middle school students were well prepared for high school.
One of the reasons that I decided to relocate to Southport is that I am a resident of West Sacramento and I love living in this community. I believe that strong relationships are vital for student success and I look forward to getting to know each of your families as your children learn and grow at Southport.
